It's Friday

Fridays are our happiest day of the week. After been home for the entire week, both mom and boy desperately look forward to getting out of the house, also, dad's around more during the weekends.

Attended 'mums and babes' yesterday, after not going for more than 2 months, some familiar faces became less familiar, and more new mums too, it was a great crowd. Nathan wasn't used to the loud noises, he didn't adjust well, hopefully with more visits, he'll be better.

Lydia mentioned that perhaps I should bring him out on my own more often, to get into used to meeting people, seeing others rather than facing me alone all day all week, it could be kind of shocking for him during the weekends when he gets out public. I'll think about it.

Everyday's the same for Nathan and I. I wait for him to wake up, hoping that he'll sleep longer, with a shorter morning, I tend to have more energy for the rest of the afternoon and night too. I'm especially surprised and happy when he only starts stirring past 11a.m. on some good days, but there were some days when he would be wide eye at 8a.m., right after Chong leaves the house for work. Then, I would be very annoyed, tired and stressed, wondering how the rest of the day would be.

He also needs less sleep these days, or so it seems. His naps are only 20mins, twice a day, sometimes once, and night time, he only knocks out about 10.30p.m. then wakes again about 1 plus or 3 plus. Last night, he woke up thrice, at an hour interval, wow man, I was beat. Chong slept through. That made me more frustrated sometimes seeing him sleeping so soundly despite boy's cries, but I have to remind myself, he needs the sleep cos he's got work the next day, while I could steal nap.

Sacrifice sacrifice sacrifice, with a baby in the house, what more can i say?
